She holds an MBA in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, and Strategic Management from the University of North Texas.
Driven by a deep commitment to elevating women and addressing systemic gaps in support, Dequise established The Invisible Woman Foundation to champion visibility, opportunity, and empowerment for women in underserved communities. She continues to lead with purpose, integrity, and an unwavering focus on impact.
Vice Chair / Director of Technology & Operations
Eric Rose is a technology executive and entrepreneur with more than 23 years of expertise in low-voltage systems design, engineering, and integration. As Founder and CEO of Merritt Communications Systems, he leads a full-service firm specializing in RF distribution, broadcast systems, CCTV surveillance, digital signage, intercom and paging communications, and healthcare-grade nurse call system integrations.
Known for his hands-on leadership and commitment to excellence, Eric oversees strategic direction, operations, and client experience for a broad portfolio spanning healthcare, retail, aviation, hospitality, and other high-demand industries. His ability to design innovative solutions and deliver reliable, high-quality results has positioned Merritt Communications as a trusted systems integrator across the region.
In addition to his professional work, Eric enjoys weight training, golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Director of Legal Affairs & Governance Advisor
Chauncey M. Lane is a transactional attorney with Holland & Knight in Dallas, advising strategic buyers, sellers, and private equity firms on complex domestic and international transactions. He also counsels venture capital funds and emerging growth companies, providing sophisticated guidance on investments, governance, and operational strategy.
A U.S. Army veteran committed to service, Chauncey dedicates pro bono efforts to supporting fellow veterans. His earlier experience at a global law firm and his scholarship with the Texas Tech Law Review underscore his longstanding commitment to legal excellence.
At the Invisible Woman Foundation, Chauncey offers strategic legal oversight and governance leadership to advance the organization’s mission and long-term impact.
Director of Planning, Logistics & Organizational Strategy
Keyona McDowell brings ten years of experience in the aviation industry to her role with The Invisible Woman Foundation. As a Flight Attendant with Frontier Airlines, she is skilled in safety compliance, in-flight operations, and delivering exceptional customer care.
Known as the “queen of organizing trips,” Keyona excels in travel planning, itinerary creation, and coordinating logistics with precision. She applies this same expertise to the foundation, supporting strategic planning, operational structure, and event coordination.
Her blend of aviation discipline, organizational talent, and problem-solving ability makes her a key contributor to the foundation’s mission and growth.
Director of Creative Programs & Women’s Experience
Keiara is the Director of Creative Programs & Women’s Experience for the Invisible Woman Foundation. Professionally, she works as an Airport Program Coordinator, leading staff who support airport programs, customer service initiatives, and operational response efforts. Keiara is known for her strong leadership, training abilities, and excellence in high-level customer care.
A gifted creative, Keiara designs and coordinates events—from birthdays to Galentine’s gatherings—bringing innovative décor and memorable experiences to every project. Her blend of operational expertise and artistic vision strengthens the foundation’s mission to empower and elevate women.

Dr. Dharma is a distinguished medical professional in the Dallas area with a patient-centered approach and unwavering commitment to thoroughness. Her philosophy of leaving no stone unturned in medical care has led her to become involved with many community-based projects like the Invisible Woman Foundation. Dr. Dharma advocates for disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices, which she believes are the key to good health,

Oluremi Sano is a global entrepreneur, with global outreach in the Educational Technology space. She is an Executive Business Coach and Advisor to over 250 nonprofit and for-profit social impact organizations, in USA, Senegal, Ghana, Barbados and Guinea Conakry. Ms. Sano’s expertise in organizational infrastructure development and professional fundraising for busy business owners makes her a very valuable addition to the board of Invisible Woman Foundation, and to the sustainability of our efforts and initiatives.
Treasurer
Erica Wesley, MBA, serves as Treasurer for The Invisible Woman Foundation, where she leverages more than a decade of financial industry experience and three years of state auditing expertise to ensure strong fiscal stewardship and organizational accountability. An aspiring CIA and CPA and a graduate of UNT Dallas, Erica brings a disciplined, analytical approach to financial management and compliance.
She is the Founder of Professional Tax Pros, a firm providing strategic tax and financial guidance to individuals, families, and small businesses, and she also leads Empowered Images, a nonprofit focused on community empowerment.
Erica is committed to building sustainable financial frameworks and advancing economically resilient communities.
Secretary
Yonna Stephens is an accomplished Clinical Research professional with 17 years of experience, serving as a Principal Clinical Research Associate specializing in over-sight, compliance, and operational excellence. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and two Master’s degrees, reflecting her strong commitment to academic and professional advancement.
A dedicated leader in both her career and community, Yonna is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where she serves as Fundraising Chair for the Alpha Omicron Sigma Chapter. She and her husband of 24 years, Maurice, reside inGrand Prairie, TX, and are the proud parents of three children: Khai, Aniya, and Taj.
